Interprofessional Collaborative Table
The Interprofessional Collaborative Table (IP Table) created meta-curricular projects to support the sharing and alignment of curricula across more than 20 different primary care practitioners to advance comprehensive team-based primary care by enhancing knowledge of each other’s roles and contributions.
Noting how training is essential for successful primary care practice and primary care reform, this work started at the foundation – the training for the different practitioners that could contribute to comprehensive primary care. This was delineated between those projects focused at the pre-licensure level in colleges and universities and those at the post-licensure level organized by professional associations and other partners.
It should be noted that this table consisted of funded as well as non-funded partners that participated voluntarily.
Interprofessional Collaborative Table Professions
Note: Naturopathic Doctors, Massage Therapists, Oral Health Practitioners, Maternity and Medical Radiation Technologists did not have funded projects but were invited to and participated in the IPC table meetings.
